This piece is Inspired by my time as artist in residence at the Bankside Hotel during the Totally Thames Festival. Being so close to the river has really given me a deeper sense of its energy, its importance, how it is a living, tidal breathing entity. I notice how the shape of the ripples dancing with light on the surface are ever-changing, This pieces is infused with a drop of water from the Thames as a symbolic act of connection.
